Great questions I encountered during rosary meditation today -

"How did I spend the last 90 minutes of last night?"

"What did I give my attention to when I woke up?"

"What needs to change in the way I am living my life

so that friendship with God and prayer can be my priority?"

CS Lewis wrote: Put first thing first and we get the second thrown in. Put second thing first and we lose both the first and second things.

Pope Benedict XVI emphasizes that the first and essential thing is a listening heart, so that God (not I) can reign. The Kingdom of God comes by way of a listening heart.
