SEEING THROUGH THE EYES OF OUR HEARTS

• We should look at the incidents of our life through a divine perspective.

• If we want to grow in spiritual life, we should received a SPIRITUALITY INNER VISION - The Eyes of our Heart.

• Once we receive this, we will look at everything through a Godly perspective.

• There are two ways through which we can look at our lives esp the miseries, the misunderstandings, the accusations, the misfortunes, the crosses we have to carry.... We can see these through a divine perspective or an earthly perspective.

—> GOD CALLS US TO A HOPE

Eph 1:17

¹⁷ I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, ¹⁸ so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his great power. 

Rom 12:12. Rejoice in hope

It is hope that keeps us joyful

—> GOD USES US AS INSTRUMENTS OF BLESSINGS

If we have this spiritual perspective, we will not be sad and miserable or depressed whatever the struggle.

2 Cor 7:10

¹⁰ For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation and brings no regret, but worldly grief produces death.

If Joseph had been angry or  lost his joy or be filled w hatred, he may not have been used by God because the anointing of God would not have worked in him.

—> MIRACLES ARE HIDDEN IN EVERY EXPERIENCE OF DARKNESS

In the experience of darkness, God brings treasures, mighty miracles are hidden in every experience of darkness, do not be sad but be always hopeful and joyful.

Gen 50:19

¹⁹ But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? ²⁰ You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

Gen 45:5

⁵ And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.

Is 45:3

I will give you the treasures of darkness and riches hidden in secret places, so that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name.
